Angel, a skilled barber from Greece, has spent 15 years perfecting his craft. His journey into the world of barbering began when his brother, who was in the army, asked him to cut his hair. Around the same time, a family friend, one of Greece’s well-known hairdressers, became a key influence on Angel’s development. Watching him work closely, Angel learned invaluable techniques that would shape his career.
At just a teenager, Angel was eager to hone his skills. While he was too young to attend formal barbering school, he found creative ways to practice. He cut the hair of his friends and started making money on the side. He also took a unique approach to learning by visiting different barbershops every week, getting a first-hand look at various cutting styles and techniques from different barbers. After seven years of self-taught barbering, he enrolled in formal barbering school, sharpening his skills and further solidifying his passion.
In 2018, Angel opened his own barbershop in Greece, marking a major milestone in his career. However, the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic forced him to temporarily close the business. Undeterred, Angel continued to offer personal cuts during the lockdown. Even after barbershops reopened, Angel chose to maintain his private-client model, offering personalized services to a select group of customers.
Angel’s love for travel has also played a huge role in his career. Combining his passion for exploration with his craft, he has traveled internationally to provide personal cuts in places like London, Dubai, and Milan, where he even worked at fashion shows. Specializing in Afro hairstyles, Angel has become known for his expertise in working with textured hair—a skill not every barber possesses. His ability to deliver exceptional styles for clients has made him a sought-after professional in his field. Through his years of dedication and his diverse experience, Angel has built a reputation not only as a talented barber but as someone who brings passion, precision, and a global perspective to his work.
