The final preparations are being made for Christmas day, with presents being wrapped and turkeys stuffed. Ho, ho, ho! For many, Christmas is a joyous occasion, a time for family and friends, love and belonging; and for reflection as the year comes to an end.
With that, we’d like to give a huge thanks to all our clients and staff for their continued commitment to keeping this truck rolling. After the happenings of 2020/2021, this last year has felt like we’ve taken a large stride back towards normality. Flights resumed and restrictions lifted, the world began to turn again.
So, this year should be an extra special one. Families are free to travel, good times lie ahead.
A Time to Rest
In this modern world of ours, time does not stop. For many, including our barbers, we operate seven days a week. As we close our doors for Christmas day, we all share some downtime in unison. Shopping, cooking and arranging gifts for everyone can take its toll, so making sure you have some time to put your feet up will ensure a holiday season well spent.
A Time of Giving
As we’ve found in many a Christmas film, there is usually a lesson somewhere for all of us. Kevin, from Home Alone, taught us how to defend ourselves from intruders. A bigger lesson though, was being kind and thoughtful, even to old pigeon ladies in the park. A smile and a hello can be enough to cheer up someone’s day, as with a text or a phone call.
A Time to Party
All full of Christmas cheer, leftovers packed away into the fridge for another day, it’s time to have some fun (or a sleep). You will probably have already enjoyed some staff Christmas parties and meet ups with friends. The atmosphere all around Christmas brings an air of magic to the day-to-day activities around the festive period.
Then of course, the pièce de resistance, New Years Eve is just around the corner, when the parties go wild.
