My name is Maleek from the city of Lahore, Pakistan. I originally joined Chaps in 2021. I grew up under an influence of my mother as she is an amazing beautician and became an inspiration for me to learn and gain hands on experience towards becoming a hairstyling specialist. I started my career back in 2008, and I moved to Ajman UAE  in 2016, later I started working with a reputable chain in 2017.

I’ve been in this industry for over 12 years. Barbering became my passion because it makes me feel alive to see my clients overjoyed with my work. One of the things I love about being a barber is meeting different people. It has had a positive impact on me as a person. I treat my clients as my friends, I always listen to them in details to give what they want and exceed their expectations. I offer them excellent service and an unforgettable experience.

I worked in 5 different companies, 2 in Pakistan and 3 in Dubai. I will always be grateful for that opportunity because I’ve learned a lot from them and grown professionally which has ultimately led me to this really big break of being able to join the Chaps team. It’s one of my biggest achievement to be part of the team. I know I’ll continuously learn and grow personally and professionally through my journey in Chaps as I aim more to become a better barber.
