My name is Cesar, and I’m from Venezuela. I joined Chaps in 2021. Originally, I began my career as a barber in my country, sharing time with my other passion which is physical education. I started my barbering journey thanks to the help of friends like Luigi Rivera, Vladimir Eucaris, Johan Salinas and Beyanira Arteaga, who were a fundamental part of my career. In 2014 I left for Brazil in search of opportunities due to the difficult situation in my country. I first arrived in the city of Boa Vista and then to Manaus.
The road was not easy. I worked from cleaning car windows at a traffic light, selling water in the street and washing dishes in a restaurant but always kept the desire to improve myself. Precisely at that traffic light I met the person who two years later would take me to Recife, Amanda Dias. When I arrived in Recife I had 1 dollar in my pocket, a clipper machine, two combs, a scissors and the most important thing that I carried was my desire to improve the lives of my myself and my family. In Recife, I started my journey in the Oficina Cabron barbershop with the great help and support of Caio Remigio, then went to work in the most important barbershop in the city, Trois barbershop.
This was without a doubt one of the most important experiences of my life. Fast forward to today here in Dubai I arrived with the same desire, the same motivation and above all the same strength, always wanting to learn every day and always absorb the best of each moment, of each partner and with the desire to continue growing as a person and as a professional. I’m excited for my future here.
