A Mo’ment That Makes A Difference

This year, we proudly celebrate our 8th year supporting the Movember Movement. At Chaps & Co, we’re committed to using our voice to ignite real conversations among our Mo’ Bro’s. In partnership with Instax, we’re capturing and sharing our Mo’ments throughout the month, helping to raise awareness on men’s health and break down the stigma around these issues.

Why Chaps think Movember is important:

Our main goal is and always will be to ensure our customers leave looking and feeling good. With that comes the responsibility to have those tough conversations that need to be had. We find it important to band together as a community to continue to educate, advocate and support wherever we can to create awareness on men’s health issues.

Message from our founder Jordan Davies: 

“In a landscape where some brands misuse the Movember name for self-promotion, we’ve consistently taken a purpose-led approach, raising awareness, encouraging conversation, and supporting fundraising efforts through official channels. We’re proud to be part of a movement that encourages men to take their health seriously.”

How you can help destigmatize men’s health:

Education & Conversations – Whether it’s reading, sharing articles or having those in-person conversations, the fastest way to spread knowledge is through educating each other. Make sure you get your information from reliable sources and articles.

Community involvement – Community plays the most vital role. Build up our communities by speaking about our issues and working together as a team to help raise awareness and advocate as well as find solutions.

Advocating for men’s health – Advocate for the men who can’t. We still live in a world where men’s health issues are not widely spoken about. Create safe spaces for the men that are affected to show that the community stand with them. Advocating for others allows them to advocate for themselves, and eventually others.

Movember Walls:

This year we have Movember walls in-store. Show your support by adding your photo on the wall and starting a converstion. You can also share it on social media to help spread awareness about the cause behind the movement. This is our way of actively partaking in educating and advocating for our fellow bro’s.

We’ve also partnered with Instax to help capture memorable moments of our Mo Bro’s looking to support. This partnership is here to inspire more people to join in on the conversation about men’s health. Be part of the change by having your photo taken with our Instax cameras and placed it on our walls.
